WUB CSE Head Serves as Resource Person at Bangladesh Bank’s Top Management Cyber Security Awareness Program

Dr. Jannatul Naeem, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), World University of Bangladesh (WUB), delivered a session at the Top Management Cyber Security Awareness Program organized by the Cyber Security Unit of Bangladesh Bank.

The session was held on 06 October 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at the Mini Conference Room (3rd Floor, Main Building) of the Bangladesh Bank Head Office, Motijheel, Dhaka.

Dr. Naeem took part at the formal invitation of the Cyber Security Unit of Bangladesh Bank. The program aimed to increase awareness of cyber security risks and promote safe digital practices among the participating officials.

During the session, Dr. Naeem addressed emerging cyber threats, safe digital practices, cybersecurity policies and governance, and the role of top management in cybersecurity governance. The session included an interactive discussion with participating officials.

Dr. Naeem’s participation reflects World University of Bangladesh’s commitment to academic engagement with national institutions and to contributing expertise in critical areas such as cyber security and digital resilience.
