Biography
Syeda Jannatul Naim is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh. She previously worked as a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT), where she taught undergraduate courses and mentored students, particularly in programming. In addition, she served as a Research Fellow at the ICT Division and completed an Internship at the Ministry of Public Administration, where she gained practical experience with data-driven projects in the public sector. She holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka, where her research focused on source image reconstruction from deepfake images. She earned her B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dhaka City College under the National University, where her undergraduate research centered on bilingual fake news detection. Both of her research works were published in the IEEE ICCIT Conference 2024. In recognition of her outstanding research contributions at the masterβs level, she was awarded the prestigious ICT Fellowship by the ICT Division, Government of Bangladesh, acknowledging her commitment to advancing responsible and interpretable artificial intelligence research.
