Biography
Mohammad Anwar Hossain received his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University in 2022 and completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) in December, 2019.
Since
January 2023, he has been serving
as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh. In recognition of his
outstanding academic achievements, he was awarded the Founder’s Gold Medal
at the 5th Convocation of the World
University of Bangladesh held in 2022.
His
research interests span across
several emerging areas in computer science, including Network Security, Internet
of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing,
and Machine Learning. He has
authored and co-authored over 10
research papers published in various peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, reflecting
his active involvement in scholarly research and contribution to the academic
community.
In
addition to his academic career, he has gained valuable industry experience, having worked as an Executive in the Digital
Ad Operations Department at Service
Engine BPO (SEBPO), a well-known outsourcing and technology services company.
His blend of academic and practical experience enables him to bring a balanced
and applied perspective to teaching and research.
He also holds professional certifications, including Vendor certifications on Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), which underscores his technical proficiency in computer networking and commitment to continuous professional development.
