Biography
Dr. Jannatul Naeem is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer
Science and Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh. He is a highly
motivated and multidisciplinary researcher with a Ph.D. in Biomedical
Engineering, specializing in Rehabilitation Engineering. With over a decade of
experience in academic research, medical device prototyping, and machine
learning applications, he brings a dynamic blend of innovation and technical
expertise to both research and teaching.
His core research interests include the
development of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) systems, real-time
biomedical signal processing, and smart healthcare technologies. He is
proficient in Python, LabVIEW, and embedded system design, enabling his to
create intelligent healthcare solutions and prototype advanced medical
technologies. Dr. Naeem has a solid background in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering and is known for translating complex biomedical concepts into
practical, real-world innovations, including patented devices.
As an educator, Dr. Naeem has taught and
mentored students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in subjects
such as Python programming, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and
biomedical applications. His scholarly contributions are reflected in numerous
publications in ISI-indexed journals and international conferences. He has
received several academic awards and is deeply passionate about combining data
science, engineering, and healthcare to drive impactful research in areas like
exoskeleton systems, rehabilitation devices, and human-computer interaction.
