Biography

Asadullah Bin Rahman is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at World University of Bangladesh, specializing in Machine Learning and Quantum Computing. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) and is currently pursuing his MSc at the same institution. His research focuses on quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, and biomedical image processing, with published work in international conferences on wavelet transform techniques and deep learning models.

Asadullah has demonstrated exceptional performance in quantum computing, ranking 11th globally in the IBM Quantum Challenge 2024, achieving finalist status in the Womanium Quantum + AI 2024 program, and receiving recognition in Unitary Hack 2025 for his open-source contributions to the quantum software ecosystem. He is proficient in quantum computing frameworks including Qiskit, Cirq, and PennyLane, alongside machine learning tools such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. His technical expertise extends to competitive programming, having solved problems across various platforms, and he maintains strong foundations in algorithms and data structures.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Asadullah actively contributes to the quantum computing community as a mentor with QBangladesh (QWorld), promoting quantum literacy in Bangladesh.
