Biography

Dr. Md. Amran Hossen is an experienced academic and software development professional with over 7 years in industry and academia. He has expertise in software engineering, machine learning, and IT systems development, with a proven track record of research publications and technical leadership. He has served as a teaching and lab assistant, also contributed to large-scale software projects, and actively engages in emerging technologies to enhance learning, entrepreneurship and innovation.

His research interests include Machine Learning & Deep Learning, Human activity recognition, Computer vision, Cybersecurity and Secure Systems, Health informatics, Natural Language Processing (Applied), Simulation and Digital Twin Systems, and Intelligent Systems for Technology for Development (T4D).
