CSE Lab Facilities

The World University of Bangladesh (WUB) offers well-equipped Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) lab facilities to provide students with hands-on experience in various domains of computing and technology. These labs are designed to support academic coursework, research, and industry-relevant projects.

Students gain practical exposure to programming, networking, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IoT, and more—preparing them for successful careers in the global tech industry.

Software Lab

Equipped with modern IDEs for Java, Python, C++, and web stacks. Used for core programming, OOP, and software engineering projects.

Computer Networks and Data Communication Lab

Networks & Data Comm Lab

Hands-on with routers, switches, packet tracer, and protocol analyzers. Covers OSI, TCP/IP, and network simulation.

Networking Lab

Advanced network configuration, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless setups using Cisco/Juniper gear and GNS3.

Web Programming Lab

Full-stack development with HTML/CSS/JS, React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL. Hosts student projects and portfolios.

Database Management Lab

Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. ER modeling, SQL queries, normalization, and DB administration practice.

Operating System Lab

Linux/Unix shell, system calls, process scheduling simulations, and kernel module experiments using Ubuntu/CentOS.

Peripheral & Interfacing Lab

8085/8086 kits, logic trainers, DLD boards. Covers assembly, microprocessor interfacing, and digital logic design.

Programming Lab

Dedicated space for C, C++, Python, and competitive programming. Used for labs, contests, and debugging sessions.

Image Processing Lab

MATLAB, OpenCV, Python libraries. Projects in filtering, edge detection, object recognition, and medical imaging.

Artificial Intelligence Lab

GPU workstations with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn. Covers ML, NLP, robotics, and intelligent systems.

Computer Graphics Lab

OpenGL, WebGL, Unity, Blender. 3D modeling, rendering, animation, and game development projects.

General Browsing Lab

Internet access, research, e-learning platforms, and documentation. Open to all students for academic use.

Hardware Lab II - Digital Electronics

Logic gates, flip-flops, counters, multiplexers. Breadboards, IC testers, function generators for circuit design.

Hardware Lab I - Microprocessor

8085/8086 trainers, ADC/DAC, stepper motor interfaces. Assembly programming and real-time system experiments.

Electrical Circuits Lab

Kirchhoff’s laws, Thevenin/Norton theorems, RLC circuits. Equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.

Electronics Lab

Diodes, transistors, amplifiers, oscillators. Experiments with breadboards, signal generators, and curve tracers.

Microprocessor Lab

Basic 8085 programming, interfacing with peripherals. Focus on fundamentals for non-CSE engineering students.

Physics Lab

Mechanics, optics, waves, electromagnetism. Equipment: lasers, spectrometers, pendulums, and measuring instruments.

Chemistry Lab

Titration, spectroscopy, pH analysis. Safety-equipped with fume hoods, glassware, and chemical reagents.
