Master of Science (MSc) in Cyber Security

Cyber Security study programmes teach you how to protect computer operating systems, networks, and data from cyber attacks. You’ll learn how to monitor systems and mitigate threats when they happen.

This is an oversimplification of IT security degrees’ curricula. Each module will have a certain focus, but the overall goal is to help you develop the computing skills needed to prevent attacks and protect people’s data and privacy.

Admission Requirements

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 5.0 or a first division or equivalent in any one of S.S.C. and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations, and must have a GPA more than 2.5 out of 5.0 or a second division or equivalent in any of the aforementioned examinations.
  • At least 50% marks or a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or its equivalent degree from a recognized institution.

Note : As per the Private University Act 2010, 3% of the total seats are reserved for sons and daughters of Freedom Fighters (FF), while another 3% are reserved for poor and meritorious candidates from remote and undeveloped areas (RA).
