Short Biography:
Ahsan Ullah is an accomplished academic with a passion for teaching and research in network security, internet of things (IoT) and cloud computing. With a diverse background in 10 years university teaching experience and 2 years professional experience as software developer, Mr. Ullah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom. He holds a M.Sc. in Computer Networks and Security from University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, UK where his research focused on network security. Throughout his academic journey, Mr. Ullah has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in both teaching and scholarly pursuits. As an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering at World University of Bangladesh(WUB), Mr. Ullah is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of Data Communications and Networking, Computer and Cyber Security, Operating System, Computer Algorithms, Data Structure, and structured Programming among his students. His teaching philosophy emphasizes active engagement, real-world applications, and interdisciplinary perspectives, empowering students to become lifelong learners and leaders in their respective fields. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Ullah is actively involved in research endeavors aimed at Threat Detection and Prevention, Encryption and Cryptography, Cloud and IoT Security, Machine Learning and AI for Security, and Cyber Threat. He has published 25 articles in reputable journals and presented his work at international conferences, contributing valuable insights to the academic community. Mr. Ullah is also committed to service and mentorship, guiding students in their academic and professional development, and actively participating in departmental initiatives and community outreach programs. With his dedication to excellence, innovative teaching methods, and passion for advancing knowledge, Mr. Ahsan Ullah is a valuable asset to the academic community and a respected leader in his field.
