To earn the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering a student must:

  • Successfully complete a minimum of 148 credit hours (including internship/dissertation/project) for HSC or Equivalent Students and 128 credits for Diploma Engineers.
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.50 (out of 4.00).
  • Pass all required courses (no “F” grade allowed for graduation).

Grading System:

University Grant Commission (UGC), the highest regulatory body of the Universities of Bangladesh. It is also responsible to maintain and ensure the quality of higher education. For this purpose, the UGC has prescribed a uniform grading system for the universities to follow. World University of Bangladesh follows the grading system recommended by UGC.

The overall performance of a student will be expressed in terms of Grade Point Average or G.P.A. A student can retake any exam with payment of prescribed fees.
